The Origin
of Elokan
Elokan began as a documented inquiry into what active men in tropical climates actually require from daily nutritional support — not what the market offers, but what the research indicates.
A quiet logic to how the body uses nutrients across a day
The question Elokan was founded on is straightforward: if a man maintains a consistent physical routine, what does his nutritional intake actually need to contain? Not what a generic multi-vitamin product claims to offer, but what peer-reviewed nutritional literature identifies as the gaps most commonly present in the diets of physically active men in Southeast Asia.
The answer was not dramatic. It pointed toward a small cluster of minerals and plant-based compounds — zinc, magnesium, selenium, vitamin D3, vitamin B12 — combined with a handful of botanical extracts with well-documented roles in energy metabolism and oxidative stress management. The challenge was not identifying these compounds. It was sourcing them reliably, in documented quantities, from suppliers whose processing standards could be independently confirmed.
Elokan's founding principle is that a supplement formula should be a stable, transparent composition — one that does not change formulation based on cost pressures, does not make claims that outrun the evidence, and does not ask a user to take the manufacturer's word for ingredient quality. Every batch Elokan releases is accompanied by a third-party certificate of composition. That is not a marketing claim. It is an operational standard.

Four values that do not shift with each production cycle
Every ingredient in every formula is listed on the label with its exact quantity. No proprietary blend obscures the dose.
Active ingredients are drawn from suppliers who maintain food-grade processing standards and provide chain-of-custody records with each delivery.
Each production batch is sent to an independent laboratory before distribution. The resulting certificate of composition is archived by batch code.
No ingredient is added without a documented nutritional rationale drawn from published research. The reference list is available on the Methodology page.
From initial inquiry to a stable daily formula
A review of published nutritional literature specific to active men in tropical Southeast Asian climates identified consistent shortfalls in zinc, magnesium, vitamin D3, and selenium intake across the population. This formed the compositional basis for what would become EL-01 Foundation Formula.
Eleven candidate suppliers across Indonesia and Malaysia were evaluated against food-grade processing standards and chain-of-custody documentation requirements. Four were retained. The first production batch of EL-01 underwent independent composition analysis before any distribution.
EL-02 Endurance Support and EL-03 Recovery Composition were developed in parallel, each with distinct ingredient profiles to address different phases of an active man's week. The three-formula range was complete and independently verified by end of year.
Operating from the Cikini district of Jakarta, Elokan currently maintains three active formulas, a quarterly sourcing review cycle, and a batch-by-batch third-party verification programme. The formulation specifications are reviewed annually against updated nutritional research.
